The Opportunity

As a key contributor within the creative department at The McCarthy Companies, I was brought on to support the delivery of high-impact digital and print marketing materials for a diverse client roster. I collaborated closely with the creative team, media buyers, and account managers to ensure all design solutions were strategically aligned, brand-compliant, and visually compelling.

 

Objectives

  • Develop consistent marketing materials across digital and print platforms
  • Maintain brand integrity for multiple clients across varying industries
  • Increase engagement and conversion through impactful ad design
  • Meet tight deadlines and pivot quickly based on campaign feedback

My Role & Responsibilities

  • Designed web banners, social media ads, emails, POP displays, outdoor signage, and print collateral
  • Ensured all deliverables were aligned with client brand guidelines and compliant with ad platform specs
  • Participated in weekly creative syncs to review concepts and pitch proactive design solutions
  • Stayed up-to-date with emerging trends and implemented best practices in typography and layout
  • Delivered files for production and worked with vendors as needed to ensure print accuracy

Creative Process

  • Kickoff & Briefing: Worked with the account and media team to gather goals, messaging, and specs
  • Concept Development: Created 2–3 design directions per project for internal and client review
  • Revisions & Feedback: Incorporated stakeholder input while protecting the integrity of the design
  • Final Production: Delivered layered working files and press-ready or platform-ready exports
  • Results Monitoring: Tracked engagement metrics on ads where data was available

Outcomes

  • Supported successful ad launches for 10+ campaigns in under 3 months
  • Reduced revision cycles by presenting multiple well-thought-out concepts early in the process
